SELECTED FOOD PROJECTS

From 2011 to 2019, I partnered with a variety of food-focused businesses—ranging from indie CPG brands to pop-ups and restaurants—to bring their stories to life through design. This includes Las Soupremes, my own soup and salad bar in Mexico City.

I ran a soup and salad bar called Las Soupremes for several years, inspired by Mexico’s traditional fondas—fixed-price eateries where pewter dishes and floral plastic tablecloths are part of the charm.

Wind from the East (or Tong Poo) was a Japanese food pop-up in Mexico City. The branding drew on traditional Asian woodblock prints to evoke the image of a traveling wind.

M/Esencial was a brand identity for an organic grocery store founded by Marcela, who wanted to share her favorite conscious products with her community. The name reflects her personal and essential approach.

Designed programs for Voices from the Kitchen, a storytelling event by La Cocina in San Francisco that celebrates and elevates the immigrant voices behind the food and beverage industry.

LACTEO Network, the Latin American Cheese Training Empowerment & Outreach Network, featured a logo inspired by algebraic notation, symbolizing interconnectedness and the power of networks in the dairy space.

Designed large-format banners for Walmart de México’s monthly fair showcasing small local producers—each banner highlighted visual elements from the state’s unique culture.

Created signage for Unilever’s imported product pallets, displayed inside retail stores. The visual campaign took inspiration from U.S. space missions, bringing a futuristic but nostalgic flair to the grocery aisle.
